How to create a sitemap in Yoast SEO
To install Yoast SEO, login to your WordPress dashboard.
Go to Plugins > Add New.
Search for “Yoast SEO or .”
Hit “Install now” on the first result, then “Activate.”
Go to SEO > General > Features. Make sure the “XML Sitemaps” toggle is on.
You should now see your sitemap (or sitemap index) at either yourdomain.com/sitemap.xml or yourdomain.com/sitemap_index.xml.
How to create Sitemap in Wix
Wix creates a sitemap for you automatically. You can find this at yourwixsite.com/sitemap.xml.
How to Submit your sitemap to search engines
Sign in to Google Search Console.
In the sidebar, select your website.
Click on ‘Sitemaps’.
Enter ‘sitemap_index.xml’ in the ‘Add a new sitemap’ field to complete the sitemap URL.
Click Submit.
How to remove your sitemap from Google Search Console
Sign in to Google Search Console.
In the sidebar, select your website.
Click on ‘Sitemaps’.
The ‘Sitemaps’ menu is under the ‘Index’ section. If you do not see ‘Sitemaps’, click on
Under ‘Submitted sitemaps’, click on the sitemap you want to remove.
Click on the 3 vertical dots in the top-right of the page then Remove Sitemap. If needed, you can then re-add the sitemap here.
