CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Result 2024: Important Updates for Class 10th and 12th Students
The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is all set to announce the results for the class 10 and 12 exams in the last week of May 2024. This is an important milestone for students as it determines their academic progress and future opportunities. In order to make the process of accessing academic documents easier and more secure, CBSE has introduced the use of Digilocker access codes for students.
Accessing CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Result 2024: access Student DigiLocker account and Official Documents on Digilocker
CBSE has provided schools with Digilocker access codes to be shared with students. These codes are crucial for students to check their results and access other official documents on the Digilocker platform. Once the results are declared, students can check their scores on the official CBSE website, Digilocker, via SMS, or the UMANG app. To view their scorecards, students will need their admit card number, roll number, and school number.

Obtaining Digilocker Access Codes
Schools can obtain the Digilocker access codes by following these steps:
- Visit the CBSE Digilocker portal: Go to cbse.digitallocker.gov.in.
- School login: Use the required credentials and select ‘Login as School’.
- Download codes: Choose ‘Download Access Code File’.
- For Class 10: Click ‘Download Access Code for Class X’.
- For Class 12: Click ‘Download Access Code for Class XII’.
- Distribution: Schools should share the access codes with students while keeping it confidential.
Creating a Digilocker Account for Students
Students can create a Digilocker account by following these steps:
- Obtain a 6-digit access code from your school.
- Go to the Digilocker website or download the app.
- Enter the 6-digit access code. If it’s only 5 digits, add a zero at the start.
- Ensure that your details match those in your school records.
- Enter your mobile number and verify it with the OTP. Once verified, your Digilocker account will be activated.
- After the results are declared, log in to view and download your mark sheets in the education documents section.
No Toppers List this Year
In a departure from previous years, the CBSE will not be declaring any toppers for the upcoming 10th and 12th results in 2024. This policy was initiated in 2019 to shift the focus from individual rankings to overall academic excellence. Instead of announcing toppers, the CBSE will award merit certificates to students with the highest scores in individual subjects. Additionally, the board will not disclose any overall aggregates.
CBSE Board Class 10th and 12th Result 2024: Date
The CBSE has confirmed that the results for the CBSE Board Exam 2024 will likely be declared after May 20. Students can stay updated on the result declaration by visiting the board’s official website – cbseresults.nic.in. The website states, “CBSE Board results for Class X and XII are likely to be declared after 20th May 2024.”
