How to Take a Full-Page Screenshot on Your iPhone

Your iPhone, just like other smartphones, allows you to take screenshots of webpages, emails, PDF files, chats, and anything else you find important to save or share. Taking a regular screenshot on your iPhone is as simple as pressing the power button and volume up button simultaneously. However, capturing a full-page screenshot requires a different approach.

Instead of relying on a third-party app, iOS provides a built-in feature that allows you to take scrolling screenshots. This feature, however, only works with Apple’s own apps. Here’s how you can do it:

  1. Take a screenshot by pressing the power and volume up buttons together.
  2. A miniature screen will appear in the bottom left corner of your iPhone’s display. Tap on this preview immediately, or it will disappear.
  3. On the following screen, you will see various options, including one called ‘Full Page’ in the top right corner. Note that this option will only appear if there is more content beyond what was initially captured.
  4. Tap on the ‘Full Page’ option to take a screenshot of the entire webpage.
  5. After the screenshot is taken, you will have the option to use markup and edit the image. Alternatively, you can tap ‘Done’ to save the screenshot.

It’s important to note that a full-page screenshot is saved in PDF format rather than an image file format. This allows you to easily view and share the entire webpage as a single document.
