To create a bootable USB drive using Command Prompt (cmd) on Windows, you can use the built-in diskpart utility along with the format command. 

Open Command Prompt as Administrator __Press Windows key + X  

– Type diskpart and press Enter. – Type list disk and press Enter.

Type select disk X (replace X with the disk number of your USB drive) and press Enter. Type clean and press Enter. 

 

Type create partition primary and press Enter.  Type select partition 1 and press Enter.  Type active and press Enter .

Type format fs=ntfs quick and press Enter.  Type assign and press Enter

Type exit and press Enter  You can copy the files from your bootable ISO or installation media onto the USB drive.
