Use Bill Gates’s AI: Recently, Bill Gates gave an interview to The Verge in which he explained the ways he uses AI, especially ChatGPT, in his work and daily activities. “Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates noted that the applications for artificial intelligence ‘are numerous, writing, learning, and problem-solving.'”
He cited how often he refers to ChatGPT for explanations on specific topics, noting that it is very helpful to learn. “It’s an excellent way to get explanations for specific questions,” he added, underscoring how convenient AI has been for securing knowledge.
The meeting summary tool in Microsoft Teams, he said, was the most used feature of AI by him. He also liked the fact that he could not only get a summary but also ask questions interactively about the content. “The ability to interact and not just get the summary but ask questions about the meeting is pretty fantastic,” he remarked.

As for the future, Gates said that AI has vast promise to change health and other sectors for the better. He disclosed how AI can support teachers in their work and keep students interested when they are either weak or performing well. “For the next decade, we’ll be experiencing increased productivity in a lot of areas, which is overwhelmingly very good news,” he added.
However, Gates mentioned one significant concern: misinformation. He warned that the younger generation will have to deal with a fragile balance between free speech and the risks involved in spreading false information. “Misinformation is the one where I do think the younger generation is going to have to look at the tradeoffs,” he noted.
In brief, the reflection of Gates on AI probably relates to its transformative potential, particularly in terms of raising productivity and learning, but of course, with these areas, awareness and responsibility are both critically necessary in the digital age.
