What is blue aadhaar Card benfits and Registation Child Online - Complete Info

The Blue Aadhaar Card, also known as Baal Aadhaar, is an identity card that is only provided to Indian children who are five years of age or younger. It offers a distinct 12-digit identification number connected to the child’s demographic data, operating similarly to a standard Aadhaar card. But it’s not the same as the regular Aadhaar in the following ways:

  • Biometric information: No biometric information is gathered for the Blue Aadhaar because it is difficult to obtain fingerprint and iris scans from small children.
  • Validity: Until the child becomes five years old, the Blue Aadhaar card is valid. After that, the child’s biometrics (fingerprints and iris scans) and picture must be taken in order to update the card.

Importance of the Blue Aadhaar Card:

  • Early enrollment in government programs: An rising number of government services and programs use the Aadhaar card. Getting your child a Blue Aadhaar guarantees their easy enrollment in these programmes after they meet the eligibility requirements.
  • Identity and age verification: The Aadhaar card provides a legitimate means of proving one’s identity and age, which is useful when applying for jobs, schools, passports, and other future needs.
