iPhone Tricks Apple Won’t Tell These hidden features 2023
Apple Inc. is the company behind the iPhone series of smartphones. Since its first release in 2007, it has grown to be among the most well-liked smartphones worldwide. The iPhone is available in various versions, each with a unique set of features and functionalities, and it is powered by Apple’s exclusive operating system, iOS.
Screenshot an entire web page
Take a screenshot as usual – on our iPhone 12, this means pushing the Sleep/Wake and Volume Up keys simultaneously – then tap on the thumbnail. There are now two tabs: Screen and Full Page. The latter captures the entire page, not just the visible part.
Record your screen
You may send your screen recording directly into other apps besides Photos by pressing and holding the Screen Recording button in Control Centre. These apps include Zoom and Facebook Messenger.
Get better voice memos
You can switch from compressed to lossless audio and turn off location-based naming under Settings > Voice Memos.
Use AirDrop
You may instantly transfer data, including pictures, movies, and other media, to nearby Apple devices with AirDrop. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to open the Control Centre, press AirDrop, and select the recipients of your sharing before using it.
Share pics, not places
Your iPhone camera provides a tonne of helpful information, including the location, to your photos. By tapping the Options option in the top-left corner of the share sheet, you may turn off Location if you’d choose not to show that information when you share a photo.
Disable the mic in the recording
But you only want the video, not the audio right? You may turn the microphone off by long-pressing the same button you’ll see an icon to toggle the microphone off.
Flash the LED when there’s an alert
If you want a visual indicator when you have new notifications, you can turn on LED notifications in Settings > Audio/Visual > LED Flash for Alerts.
Turn off ratings or feedback requests
Annoyed by endless “rate us in the App Store” requests? Settings > App Store brings silence.
Use the Dark Mode:
Go to Settings > Display & Sound > Display > Dark Appearance to enable Dark Mode, which changes the colors of your iPhone interface to a darker theme, reducing eye strain and conserving battery life.
Use the Emergency SOS feature:
Press and hold the side button and volume up or down button simultaneously to quickly call for emergency help, or set up automatic emergency contacts in Settings > Emergency SOS.
Use the Apple Watch to unlock your iPhone
If you have an Apple Watch, you can use it to unlock your iPhone automatically without entering your passcode.
Use the QR code scanner
Open the Camera app and point it at a QR code to scan it and access the information or website associated with it.
